Hi,

I want to setup a blog, on one of my sites and then have 3 other sites, point to that blog, and not sure of the best way to do it.

Do I do DNS way and use a cname, or do I do the .htaccess 301 redirect way, which is best. Each site has there own account.

I was think about having:
blog.hqsite.com (for the blog)

blog.site1.co.uk & blog.site2.us and blog.site3.eu
Will need all need to point to blog.hqsite.com

So what is the best way, it would be nice, if I could keep blog.siteX.ext in the browser, but not a must, if not possible

Hi Garry,

I would recommend a 301 redirect, using CNAME's could lead to duplicate content issues for search engines whereas with the 301 the blog content will only be shown at a single URL which will avoid this.

Regards,

Darryl
